January 29, 1996: Former Officer Richard Kelley (Detroit PD) had a twenty-hour stand off with police, during a domestic assault. It was Kelley’s third major incident of domestic violence and stand off with police. (Detroit Free Press)

January 07, 2005: Southgate Mayor Dennis David reinstated Officer Brian Klonowski (Southgate PD) without any restrictions to duty on January 10, 2005. January 07, 2005: During an interview with Channel 4, Southgate mayor Dennis David stated that people needed to have some sympathy for Officer Brian Klonowski (Southgate PD)/ (April 24, 2004 assault).
